Business Issue

The client's Operations team struggled with slow response times in service management applications, leading to escalating operational costs. Key issues included poor network visibility, high incident response times, and cost inefficiencies due to manual processing with on-prem architecture.

Solution

We enhanced IoT data capture by redesigning the backend and database, enabling improved data collection across millions of IoT devices. To ensure comprehensive systems management, we developed new applications for end-to-end management of tower, network, and router systems. The solution was GIS-based and integrated with Field Service management, providing a robust and cohesive system.

Secure authentication was a priority, so we included role-based authentication and integrated it with AAA servers, LDAP, and SAML. Additionally, we created improved Google Maps integration to enhance location-based functionalities. Finally, we successfully migrated the entire system from an on-premises setup to an AWS Cloud environment, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

Outcomes 

The solution allowed real-time visualization of the network and IoT device monitoring. Automation of monitoring and incident management processes led to a 10% reduction in monthly costs due to better integration with Google Maps and significantly lower response times for incidents.
